CEO Says Goodbye

Lynn Card CEO InFocus Disability Services Brisbane Retires

Dear everyone,

It has come time for me to slow down from what has been a long and rewarding career within disability and especially my time at InFocus Disability Services (formerly Xavier Children’s Support Network).

At the end of June I will be retiring from the position of CEO, and I am currently handing over to Richard Littler who will commence as the new CEO from July 1, 2017.

I have enjoyed over 20 years at InFocus driving the organisation through various major changes which have focused on developing services which continue to meet the needs of the children, young adults and families we support.  Earlier this year it was a pleasure to introduce our new trading name, InFocus Disability Services, which more accurately reflects our service provision whilst at the same time retaining  the same brand essence and quality of service that is inherited from Xavier Children’s Support Network.  More recently I have been concentrating on the organisation’s preparation for the roll out of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which includes assisting our families in a smooth transition to the scheme.

It has been a pleasure to work with all the talented people here at InFocus over the years who have seen us through the good times and the tough times. I would also like to thank the families we have supported over the years for their ongoing input to the success of the organisation. InFocus has truly been a large part of my life but it is now time to move forward.

I would like to thank everyone for their hard work and commitment to InFocus in making it the organisation it is today.  I look forward to seeing InFocus developing in the future and thriving under the NDIS.

Yours faithfully,

Lynn Card CEO
